Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026 · This page is maintained by the Tango team and describes the terms for using Tango CRM.

1. Agreement to these terms

Tango CRM ("Tango", the "Service") is owned and operated by Tango CRM, based in the United States ("we", "us"). By creating a Tango account or using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with Tango CRM and you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you are using Tango on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for that business. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Tango. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Tango. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and our reseller

Tango Pro is offered as a recurring subscription with a free trial period as described at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged on the stated schedule. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Payments for Tango Pro are processed by Stripe, which handles checkout, billing, tax, and refunds on our behalf.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled through Stripe. Our own refund commitment is described on our Refund Policy page.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Acceptable use

Use Tango lawfully and respectfully. Do not use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, harass other users, send spam, infringe someone else's rights, attempt to break or overload our systems, or resell the Service without our permission.

Tango Community Room is a shared space with other users. We may remove content or suspend accounts that abuse it.

5. Intellectual property

Tango, including its software, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by Tango CRM and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the Service.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the contacts, deals, notes, journals, messages, and other content you add to Tango. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, back up, and display that content so we can operate the Service for you.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to store the information you upload, including personal data about your clients and contacts.

7. AI features

Tango includes AI-assisted features such as Daily Briefings, Review with AI, Prioritize with AI, and Ask Tango. These features generate suggestions based on the data in your workspace.

You are responsible for the prompts you submit, for having the rights to any content you input, and for verifying and how you use the outputs. Do not use AI features to generate unlawful content, deceptive impersonations, harassment or hate speech, malware, or to attempt to bypass safety controls.

AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Treat it as a helpful draft, not professional, legal, tax, or financial advice, and review it before acting on it. We may filter, refuse, or remove outputs and content, and suspend accounts, where use breaches these terms. If you believe content in Tango infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and remove infringing material; repeat infringers lose access.

8. Availability and warranties

We work to keep Tango available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis with no guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Tango and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

When an account is deleted, we remove or de-identify its content in line with our Privacy Policy and any legal record-keeping obligations. You may request an export of your data before deletion.

10. Limitation of liability and indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the seller is resident, without regard to conflict of law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make a material change, we will let you know through the app or by email. Continuing to use Tango after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms? Reach Tango CRM through the Contact page and we'll get back to you. For payment, billing, or refund questions, your Stripe receipt also links to your billing portal.
